YOUTH

The Middle and High school years in a student’s life are highly significant in shaping their understanding of God and life in the Jesus way. Our hope is to create spaces in these years for our youth to in grow their faith, spiritual friendships, and a sense of belonging.

FORMATION

WORD & TABLE

At All Souls, we value the practices of living out life together as followers of Jesus with our Youth. The rhythms of our Sunday liturgy together, modeling ancient Christian practices, loving our neighbors, the work of justice, all of these things are done alongside youth. Our desire is for our youth to be with us as much as possible in our worship together, not as passive participants, but as active members of our community. Because of this, we encourage all members of our youth group to consider where they might serve on a Sunday (passing out liturgy guides, scripture reader, setup, kids, etc).

FORMATION

Youth Group is our weekly rhythm that brings into focus our three-fold hopes: to grow faith in Jesus, spiritual friendships, and a sense of belonging. We eat lunch together following corporate worship, play together, and spend some time in spiritual formation. This year our formation is aimed at getting students more familiar with the story that holds us: the Good News of Jesus.

Each week, we are dramatizing together a passage from the Gospels, selected from our Scripture Reading plan. Our hope is that helping students immerse their imaginations in the stories will lay a foundation that students can build on for the rest of their lives. Youth Group meets from 11:30a-1:00p every Sunday.
