TEAMS AT ALL SOULS

In our Rule of Life we state that because the Trinity forms us as a people designed for relationship, we commit ourselves to generous hospitality by living with one another in tangible expressions of community.

Our many teams at All Souls Cville are but one way we embody this hope and commitment. If you call All Souls home, joining a team is one way you can help “set the table” for people to encounter Jesus.

GREETERS

Greeters embody our hope to receive and then give away God's hospitality to everyone who comes to All Souls. These volunteers serve together once a month helping the Deacon of the Day with setup, greeting people, making everyone feel welcome, and helping provide new people with information on life in our community.

  • Serve once a month

  • Greet our church family and any visitors as they arrive on Sunday

NURSERY

YOUTH

The Middle and High school years in a student’s life are highly significant in shaping their understanding of God and life in the Jesus way. Youth volunteers help create spaces for our youth to grow in faith, spiritual friendships, and a sense of belonging.

  • Attend monthly Youth Team volunteer meetings

  • Volunteer at least once/month at our weekly Youth Group gathering

PRESCHOOL

Preschool Volunteers embody our hope that our young friends will come to know that they are beloved image-bearers of God and valued members of our community. In addition to a great deal of play, the class reads from and talks about stories from a variety of illustrated children’s Bibles, all of which come together to tell one big story of God’s great love for his children.

  • ttend a mid-week rehearsal on weeks you help lead music

  • Involvement roughly 1 Sunday per month

ELEMENTARY

Elementary Assistants serve in either the Younger Elementary Class or the Older Elementary Class. They help create welcoming and sacred spaces where children can explore faith and practice, develop spiritual friendships, learn God’s truth, come into relationship with God, and grow in faith to love and serve God throughout their lives.
