We practice shalom by serving children, walking with the poor, working for justice, and seeking the flourishing of our community because God’s is already present.
To participate in shalom is, in large measure, to do what Jesus told us to do: to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. In addition to the partnering with the following ministries, we, as a community, we have committed to give away 20% of our community’s funds each year, with a substantial portion given to needs in the Charlottesville area. As a church, we pray that generosity will shape the whole of our life
