Believing that all of us need to be called out and encouraged to use our gifts and vocations to serve God’s intentions to make all things new, Shalom Fellowships are one-year experiences intended to equip our Fellows to serve others in a place where, as Buechner says, their “deep joy gladness and the world’s deep hunger meet.” Judy and Chris Schenk, who steward River Birch Farm and are co-founders of Tinamou Consulting, guide our fellows. Fellows may emerge from within our church or from the wider community of Charlottesville.
Committed to the truth that all beauty arrives as a gift from God, All Souls supports the craft of those working in the arts. Our artists-in-residence are skilled creators who would benefit from the support of our community and a season of intentional beauty-making. Our 2015-2016 artists-in-residence are Christy Yates (painting) and Tom Conlon (songwriter and recording artist).

On occasion, All Souls will have the opportunity to support – and receive the gifts from – a pastor who wants to serve in some specialized capacity within our community for a short season. Our first pastor-in-residence was Saranell Hartman in 2013-2014.
